Over the years, The Hood & Co have created several pieces of content for the collective, incluidng:
- capturing the Kāhui mentorship programme Wānanga weekend, where designers heard stories and advice from Specialist in their respective fields.
- the Kāhui Collective luxury pop-up shop, where Maori fashion designers showcased their work.

All edits have a similar outlook to not only explains what the collective is about but also be an asset to gain future funding.
Solution
For the China Hikoi, James packed our Red cinema camera and jumped on a flight to china. 14 days capturing content. The edit was done over a period of 8 days.
Back in New Zealand James Rua and Chris Mauger documented the emotions and essence of the Wānanga weekend.
The Hood was there front row supporting and capturing opening night at Kāhui Collective pop-up in Aucklands Britomart, where all the beautiful pieces by Maori designers could stand together and proud.
