Kiri Nathan is a New Zealand fashion designer whose work is inspired by Aotearoa.

 

Requirements

Create a short visual film which showcased the brand values and cultural identity to be shown at Kiri's first ever show at New Zealand Fashion Week 2018.

Solution

James jumped at the chance to collaborate with Kiri. A location and a model were confirmed the night before the shoot. Bethell’s beach on Auckland’s west coast was the location. Verity Griffiths did an amazing job with hair and makeup. It was also a good chance to use the Panavision primo zoom lenses. Sound design was done by Marlon Gerbes and mixed by Bigpop studios.
